Introduction
The License Management Portal (LMP) allows our Field Effect Partners to view and manage their Field Effect MDR service tiers (Core, Complete, and Cloud) self-serve capacity. From the LMP, partners can do the following:
- Purchase additional licenses for each service tier
- Onboard and offboard customer accounts.
- Manage licences for each onboarded customer
- Manage your partner profile and access to the LMP.
Accessing the License Management Portal
Only our partners with a volume license agreement, and who are not using our site fee model, can access the License Management Portal. Partners can request access via email or by asking your Account Executive. After we verify your request (typically 24 hours), you will receive an email invitation as an Administrator. Once you accept the invitation, you can invite other users into the LMP.
Once granted access, the License Management Portal is accessible via https://license.fieldeffect.com/.
To learn more about user roles and inviting new users to the License Management Portal, see Partner Profile, Access and Management.
Navigating the License Management Portal
The Overview Page
The Overview page acts as the LMP's homepage and provides a snapshot of the clients, available licenses, and renewal date for each service tier. Clicking on the name of a tier will take you to that tier's dedicated license page.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Product | Each row represents a service tier. Clicking the name will take you to a more detailed page about that tier. |
| Customers | The total number of customers allocated to a service tier. Customer accounts must be created in the LMP before they users can be allocated to a service tier. |
| User Commitment | The total number of users, across all customer accounts, available for allocation in the service tier. |
| Allocated | The total number of users, across all customer accounts, that have been allocated to the service tier. |
| Unallocated | The total number of users, across all customer accounts, that have been allocated, and are still available to do so, within the service tier. |
| Renewal Date | The date in which you will be renewed and billed for the service tier. |

The Navigation Pane
The navigation pane across the top of the LMP provides quick access to every page and workflow available.
From this pane, you can access the following:
| Navigation Tab | Description |
|---|---|
| Overview | See the section above for more on this page |
| Licence | See more detailed pages for each service tier. See Managing Volume Licenses for more on this topic. |
| Customer Onboarding | Onboard customer accounts within the LMP, which can then be attributed to a service tier. |
| Partner | Manage your partner profile, purchase additional licensing, and more. |
| Profile | Access and edit details about your specific user account. See Partner Profile: Access and Management for more. |
