The differences between a client account and partner account are subtle, but impactful. The main different between the two user types is that client users only manage their organization in the Field Effect Portal, while partners mange many client organizations using the Portal.
To accommodate this, partner users have an organization selector that allows for switching between a partner view where they can manage their account settings and see all client data simultaneously, and (depending on the number of client organizations they manage) separate client views that focus the portal to a specific client and their settings.
Finally, if a partner is using Field Effect MDR internally, they will have a client view and a partner view. From the partner's partner view, partners can manage their contact information, see all client AROs and manage their clients as a partner. From the partner's own client view, partners can manage their internal deployment, view dashboards pertaining to their internally deployment, and address AROs that were generated within their own networks and endpoint devices.
