Add an avatar to your MDR account using Vision

Introduction

From within Vision, you can add a custom avatar to your Field Effect MDR account. When you upload an avatar, it is applied to your Field Effect MDR account, and will be visible when using the MDR Portal. By default, user avatars display the profile name’s initials, but any image can be uploaded.

This article walks through the process of uploading a custom avatar to your profile in Vision.

Procedure

To upload a custom avatar to your profile in Vision: 

1. Log into vision and navigate to Account Settings in the sidebar. 
2. From the Profile tab, click Upload Image. 

 
A file explorer window will appear on your screen. Navigate to the image you want to use an avatar and click Open.

Note: JPG, PNG, and GIF are the only supported file types for avatars. Files also must be larger than 4 KB.

Your avatar will be uploaded and used wherever your user avatar is visible across your Field Effect MDR experience; using Vision, the MDR Portal, and MDR SIEM Portal.

It will also be visible when you are assigned to an ARO.
