The Sensors Page

Introduction

Use the Sensors page to monitor and manage the network sensors deployed throughout your organization. From this page, you can review sensor status, investigate sensor activity, search for specific sensors, customize the information displayed in the table, and export sensor data for reporting or troubleshooting.

Navigate the Sensors Page

The Sensors page, located in the Network section, displays all network sensors identified within your organization's environment. Each sensor appears as a row in the table, allowing you to quickly review and compare sensor information.



View Sensor Details

Select a sensor in the table to display additional information in the Details pane below the list. This view provides more information about the selected network sensor and can help you investigate its status and activity.



To expand the Details pane for easier viewing, select the Expand icon.



Customize the Table

You can customize which columns appear in the sensor list.

  1. Select Edit Columns.
  2. Choose the columns you want to display.
  3. Clear any columns you want to hide.
  4. Select Apply.


 

You can also resize columns by dragging the edge of a column header.


 

Search for Sensors

Use the search bar to find specific sensors or create more advanced searches.

  • Select a field to search.
  • Choose a condition, such as Contains or Is Not.
  • Enter a search value or select one of the suggested values.
  • Review the filtered results.


You can also enter keywords directly to perform broader searches.



Sort Sensors

To sort the sensor list, select a column header. Selecting the header again switches between ascending and descending order.


You can also use the Order By option in the search menu to sort results.



Filter Sensors

Use filter conditions in the search bar to narrow the list of sensors.


Common filtering options include:

  • Is Not to exclude matching values.
  • Is Null to display records where the selected field contains no value.


As you build your filter, the search bar provides suggestions to help you create valid queries



Filter by Date

When filtering date-based fields, use one of the following supported formats:

  • 2022-11-22T16:35:42
  • 2022-11-22T16:35:42Z
  • 2022-11-22T16:35:42.000
  • 2022-11-22T16:35:42.000+0000


Export Sensor Data

To export sensor information, select the Export CSV icon.


You can export:

  • All sensors in the list
  • A filtered set of results based on your current search criteria
