Our QNAP installation was written in-house and provides the monitoring of QNAP devices.
In order to install the .qpkg you must "allow the installation of applications without a digital signature". Failure to do so will result in the following error and this entry within your System Event log.
Step 1
Open App Centre
Step 2
Click on the "cog" icon on the toolbar
Step 3
In the Settings window that then appears, goto General.
Step 4
Enable "Allow installation of applications without a valid digital signature".
Step 5
Click Apply
Step 6
Install our endpoint agent for QNAP
Step 7
Disable the setting "Allow installation of applications without a valid digital signature".
