Supported Operating Systems

The Covalence Agent supports the following Operating Systems:

• Windows:

  • 7 - 11 (supports Active Response)
    • .Net v3.0 is required on Win 7 and below
    • .Net v4.0 (latest) is required on Win 8/8.1/10+
  • Windows Server Core 2022
  • Server 2008 SP2 and above:
    • On Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 two KBs must be installed:
      • KB4490628 - Servicing stack update (SSU)
      • KB4474419 - SHA-2 update released September 10, 2019
    • On Windows Server 2008 SP2 two KBs must be installed:
      • KB4493730 - Servicing stack update (SSU)
      • KB4474419 - SHA-2 update released September 10, 2019

• macOS:

  • 10.10 - 10.14 (Observe only)
  • 10.15+ (supports Active Response)

• CentOS:

  • 8.0 - 8.2 (supports Active Response)

• Ubuntu:

  • 12.04 - 20.04 (supports Active Response)

• Debian:

  • 5.x and above

• RHEL:

  • 5.x, 6.x, 7.3 - 8.2 (supports Active Response)
