Autotask - Why was I was notified that my thread threshold is exceeded?

Introduction

When setting up the integration, Field Effect will concurrently execute multiple sync jobs for syncing AROs initially. After the integration is created and synchronized, Field Effect will only sync AROs as they come in, so this shouldn't happen too frequently after the initial setup.

 


Use cases that may exceed the thread threshold 

Influx of AROs in a short period

If your client that has received a large number of AROs in a short period of time, there is a possibility that the thread threshold was exceeded by all the incoming AROs. 


While this scenario is possible for a direct client, this is more likely to happen to a Field Effect partner, if many end client organizations all receive AROs at the same time.

 

Partners mapping a new company

When mapping a new company for this integration in the Field Effect MDR Portal, it will cause all AROs for that company to synchronize with Autotask. This scenario may exceed the thread threshold.
