The Field Effect DNS Firewall works for any device that's connected to the network that the DNS Firewall is enabled on.
Roaming DNS Firewall however only works on Windows 10/11 devices that have the Field Effect agent installed. This is because DNS Firewall works to protect the edge of your network and thus anything connected within your network. Roaming DNS Firewall is designed to protect devices roaming outside your network and so needs the Field Effect Endpoint Agent installing on the device.
Roaming DNS Firewall is currently only available for Windows 10/11 devices with the Field Effect Endpoint Agent installed.
