The AROs Page

Introduction

A Note for Partners: This page may behave differently depending on the view that the Organization Selector is set to. When using the partner view, the AROs page is set to the list view by default. When using a specific client view, the AROs page is set to the split view by default.

The AROs page is accessible via the sidebar and has 2 different views, as well as sorting and filtering capabilities. This article introduces the AROs page, the list and split views, and how to use the filtering and sorting tools.

The example below shows the AROs page in the split view.

The Split and List Views

There are two views available for the AROs page (split and list), and you can switch between the views using the view icon on the upper right of the AROs page.

The Split View

When using the split view, the AROs page works much like any email client, with a list on the left of the page and a details pane on the right. Clicking an ARO in the list will open it in the details pane. This page also color codes AROs by type:

  • Action AROs = Red
  • Recommendation AROs = Orange
  • Observation AROs =Yellow

For more on ARO types, see Getting to Know AROs.

The List View

When using the list view, the ARO list takes up the entire page and clicking an ARO will drill into its details.

While viewing an ARO’s details, clicking AROs in the sidebar or, back in your browser, will take you back to the AROs list.

Searching for AROs

In both the list and split view, the filters are always visible at the top of the AROs page.

You can look for specific AROs using the search bar, and filters are available for status, type, created date, last updated date, assignee, watcher, and compliance framework.

Filtering by Status, Type, and Dates

The following sections explain each filter available on the AROs page.

Status Filter

This allows you to filter the page by ARO status, and you can select multiple statuses for your results.

Type Filter

This allows you to filter the page by ARO type, and you can select multiple types for your results.

Date Filters

Clicking the Created date or Last updated filter will open a calendar. Use this calendar to select a date range, and only AROs from that period will be shown in the results.

Filtering by Assignees and Watchers

Visit Watching & Assigning AROs to learn more.

Filter by Assignee

As AROs are assigned to team members, they can be filtered by assignee. Click the Assignee filter the AROs page by assignee.

Filter by Watched by Me

When the Watched by Me filter is selected, only the AROs you watch will be shown in the results. Note that you automatically watch AROs that have been assigned to you.

Filtering by Compliance Framework

If your organization has enabled Compliance Mapping for AROs, you can filter the AROs page to only show AROs that impact your compliance frameworks.

To filter AROs by compliance framework, click the Framework filter and select the framework(s) you want to see in the results.

After making your selections, only AROs that impact the selected frameworks will be shown. In the example below, the results are showing only AROs impacting the ISO 27001 framework.
