Introduction

As a Field Effect partner, you may manage many Field Effect deployments. To accommodate this, partners have access to the organization selector for our mobile app.

The organization selector allows you to switch between your clients/deployemnts and configure the settings specific to them.

Overview

The Organization Selector is available at the upper right side of the App and designed to help partners move between a centralized view that displays information for every client, and specific views that drill into each client separately.

Click the organization selector at the top of the Home and ARO's tabs to switch between the partner view (your organization name) and a specific client view (the client’s name). In the example below, the partner Optimal Solutions MSP manages three clients: Dynacare Dentistry, Freedom Defenders LLC, and Park Grove Fine Foods.

It's also important to note that if your MSP organization also uses Field Effect MDR internally, you will also have a client view for your deployment. From your own client view, you can manage your internal deployment, and the partner view will provide a consolidated view or all your clients' data simultaneously.

How the Organization Selector Affects the Home Tab

The metrics being displayed, and how they are being displayed, on the Hoem tab vary slightly depending on how the organization selector is set. 

The Home tab: Partner View

When the organization selector is set to the partner view (your partner organization name), the Home tab acts as a centralized view showing data for all client accounts you manage Field Effect MDR for. 

The Open AROs graph visualizes open AROs by type across all client organizations. Tapping on an ARO type in the graph will take you the search tab, pre-filtered to show the tapped ARO type.

Underneath the graph, a list of the highest priority AROs is presented. 

The Home Page: Client View

When set to a specific client view, the Home tab shows a simplified chart that visualizes open AROs by type, as well as status reports for the following services and features: 

• Field Effect Appliances
• Network Monitoring
• Cloud Monitoring
• Endpoint Monitoring
• DNS Firewall

How the Organization Selector Affects the AROs tab

The organization selector's impact on the AROs tab is much more subtle; when set to the partner view, all AROs for all clients are visible, and each ARO will include the name client organization's name in the list view.
