The Software Page

Introduction

The Software page helps you monitor software installed across devices in your organization. Use this page to inventory software, identify outdated versions, investigate potentially vulnerable applications, and verify where software is installed throughout your environment.

The Software page displays software discovered on devices running Endpoint Agent version 3.1 or later.

In this article, you'll learn how to:

  • Navigate the Software page
  • Review software details
  • Customize table columns
  • Search and filter results
  • Export software data

Software Views

The Software page displays software information in a table format, with each row representing a detected software installation.

Two views are available:

  • Recent Software: Displays recently added, updated, or changed software.
  • Log View: Displays the complete history of software events across your environment.

Depending on the selected view, you can display information such as:

  • Application data path
  • Architecture
  • Event time (UTC)
  • Event type
  • Host name
  • Install path
  • Install source
  • Installation date
  • Package manager
  • Publisher
  • Vendor

View Software Details

Select a software entry to open additional details in the panel below the table. The details panel provides additional information about the selected installation, helping you verify software versions, installation locations, publishers, and related metadata.

To view the information in a larger window, select the Expand icon.

Selecting a software entry opens the related agent record for the device where the software is installed.

From the agent record, you can investigate the affected device and review additional endpoint details.

To filter results:

  1. Use Is Not to exclude specific values.
